Nakayama Peak

Nakayama Peak was a sub-region of northwestern Izumi Settsu, Japan, during the Sengoku period, sharing the border with Harima Province to the west.

In 1582, the Iga kunoichi Fujibayashi Naoe traveled to Nunobiki Falls at the mountain footsteps to locate Mitsumune, a member of the Ikkō-ikki and ally of Kyonyo, to seek his aid against Wada Koretake.[1]
