The Nagas are a divine race of half-human, half-cobra beings present in many Asian religious traditions, including Hinduism and Buddhism.[1]
The Khmer people of Cambodia often depicted the Naga as a seven-headed cobra in many of their statues. In 1524, a team of Italian Assassins on an expedition to the area encountered some of these statues and used their incredible height to scout ahead at different points during their mission.[2][3]
