Mystery Island is an island in the Navassa region of the Caribbean, southwest of Île à Vache. It is characterized by a shallow lagoon surrounded by small, hilly islands.
History[edit | edit source]
At some point before his death in 1718, Stede Bonnet visited the island and left some of his treasure there, where it remained undiscovered until the arrival of his friend and fellow pirate Edward Kenway. Kenway eliminated the other treasure hunters present and looted Bonnet's fortune for himself, acquiring an attire similar to Bonnet's own, as well as the sails and figurehead from Bonnet's schooner, the Revenge.
