This article is about the makhaira used in 5th century BCE. You may be looking for makhairas in general.
Makhaira

The Makhaira was a variation of the makhaira sword found in Greece during the 5th century BCE. As a single-edged weapon, this sword was best used to cut the enemy.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found this sword in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]
