Lewisporte

Lewisporte is a town in central Newfoundland Island, Canada.

During the mid-18th century, a sizable outpost occupied by French forces was located in an area near the coast, which was largely covered with ice sheets. Enclosed by a palisade wall, the settlement consisted of a mining shaft and a small grouping of buildings, some of which were used to stock various supplies. These warehouses were at one point robbed by the Assassin-turned-Templar Shay Cormac.
