Les Deux Royaumes was a French comic book publisher, specifically responsible for transposing video game franchises into the world of comics. It was founded by Ubisoft in 2009 as a publishing house for the company, distributing titles based on Ubisoft intellectual properties such as The Rabbids and Assassin's Creed.[1]

On 30 June 2009, at the Interactive & Digital Entertainment Festival in Cannes, Ubisoft announced the creation of its own comic book publishing house. The first comic released by Les Deux Royaumes, Assassin's Creed 1: Desmond, was written by Éric Corbeyran and illustrated by Djilalli Defali. It was published in France on 11 November 2009.[2]
