The Korkyraean Bull was a bronze statue of a bull at the southeastern entrance of the Sanctuary of Delphi in Phokis, Greece.
History[edit | edit source]
The statue was given to the Sanctuary by the residents of Korkyra after a miraculous day of tuna fishing. The statue stood at the southeastern entrance of the Sanctuary of Delphi in Phokis, Greece.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, the statue was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[2]
