The Knights of the Round Table are the knights in the fellowship of King Arthur Pendragon in British legends.

History[edit | edit source]

At one point, Lancelot presented a sword to Gareth, a fellow member of the Round Table who used it to defeat the Black Knight.[1]

In 2020, local legend around the Stiperstanas still held that the rock ridges were the calcified back of a fallen dragon killed by a Knight of the Round Table.[2]

Legacy[edit | edit source]

By the late 9th century, Sir Gareth's Holy Sword came into the possession of the monks at Ferrières, a monastery along the Rhine, who bestowed it upon their protector. During her travels, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan acquired this great sword after defeating the champion.[3]

In 2020, Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved Eivor's memories, modified her Animus to include a set of armor, a shield, and a sword based on the knights as part of the shieldmaiden's armory and arsenal.[1]
