Keretizein was a game similar to street hockey in 5th century BCE Greece.
Played with a curved stick and a ball, keretizein was a common pastime.[1]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The name of the game is thought to be derived from the Greek word κέρας (kéras), meaning 'horn', in reference to the curved stick.
