Journey Shoes

The Journey Shoes were a pair of shoes worn by ancient Greeks during the 5th century BCE, mainly worn in order to traverse long distances.

During the Peloponnesian War, Spartan misthios Kassandra received the boots as a reward, along with some drachmae, after helping ostracise Anaxagoras for his own safety.[1]
