Biography[edit | edit source]

Jean joined Jeanne d'Arc's retinue on 21 April 1429 as she left the city of Tours, as did pages Raymond and Louis, and heralds Ambleville and Guyenne.[1]

On 8 September 1429, Jeanne was shot with a crossbow in Paris and d'Aulon immediately tended to her wounds.[2] On 23 May 1430, d'Aulon, along with Jeanne and a few of her men, was taken prisoner at Compiègne.[3]
