Hár Smida (Runic: ᚼᛅᚱ ᛋᛘᛁᛏᛅ) was the dwarven forge in the city of Uldar in Gullnámar, Svartálfaheimr where Sif's new hair was created.
History[edit | edit source]
In Eivor Varinsdottir's visions of Odin's time in Svartalfheim, the Æsir lord discovered the forge in the caves of Uldar and recalled the time Loki visited Ivaldi's sons and requested a golden headpiece to replace Sif's hair, which he had cut off in a cruel prank. When the dwarven blacksmiths exceeded at the task, Loki saw their skill and wondered what else they could make.[1]
