Hvergelmir Mylna

Hvergelmir Mylna (Runic: ᚼᚢᛅᚱᚴᛅᛚᛘᛁᚱ ᛘᛁᛚᚾᛅ) was a silica mylna in western Gullnámar, Svartálfaheimr, and it included one of the dwarven scholar Einar's workshops. During the Muspel invasion, the mill was taken over by Muspel warriors.

History[edit | edit source]

In Eivor Varinsdottir's visions of Odin's time in Svartalfheim, the Æsir lord Havi arrived at the mylna's outskirts and met with Einar. Sneaking their way into Einar's old workshop, Havi was told to heat the Sunstone after the furnace proved nonfunctional. Using his Hugr-Rip, he activated the "Power of Muspelheim" and stood in lava until the Sunstone was heated to completion. With the Sunstone heated, Havi gave the Sunstone to Einar as he worked to find a way into the Vault of the Ancients in Old City.[1] While at the mylna, Havi and his einherjar crew raided it and pillaged three silica pillars.[2]
