Hideyoshi Residence was the home and residence of Toyotomi Hideyoshi and his wife Lady Nene south of Azuchi Castle in Ōmi, Japan.

In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and samurai Yasuke arrived back at Azuchi after the death of his fallen lord Oda Nobunaga. Going towards the residence to meet Lady Nene, he saw Akechi soldiers looking for both Hideyoshi and Lady Nene. Realizing they were sent by Akechi Mitsuhide, Yasuke managed to kill the hostiles and found one of Lady Nene's servants, who thanked him. He asked her to tell Lady Nene to meet him at Sōken-ji before leaving the residence.[1]
