Alonso Fernández de Heredia (died 19 March 1782) was the Spanish Governor of Florida from 1751 to 1758, the first Templar Governor of Florida since Laureano de Torres y Ayala.

After his appointment in 1751, Heredia established a naval stores industry in Florida. He used his military action against the British Empire in Georgia to cover the Templar activities in the Gulf of Mexico, and moved the slaves to the excavation site at Chichen Itza, led by Rafael Joaquín de Ferrer. He was later made Governor of the Yucatán Peninsula thanks to his Templar connections, to protect the site from prying eyes.[1]
