Ghost Stories was an altered representation of a genetic memory.[1]
Intro[edit | edit source]
While you are investigating a village, a young boy tells you he has heard of people who look like you. They were interested in strange objects discovered by children in the ruins of the old rice warehouses. The boy never dared to venture there, because this place has a reputation for being haunted by the spirits of the famished dead.
The boy guides you to the edge of the village and points out a gentle slope which he says leads to the old reserves. As you approach it, you notice that a strange fog has fallen over the place...
Objective[edit | edit source]
- Synchronize from the top of the Naga to locate the items of the Assassins from the first expedition, then collect them.
Debrief[edit | edit source]
The fog finally cleared and you were able to reach the buildings. No ghosts, but now you know that the team of Assassins you're looking for passed through here: You found their diary!
As you read the story of their search for the Assassin nicknamed Colubra, you feel increasingly uneasy. Your predecessor's words give you goosebumps; they allude to a malevolent force that would be at work in the region. Looing at a page of scribbled notes adorned with various orphic motifs, you understand that Colubra is the the Portuguese word for snake.
The little information the Brotherhood has given you seems to be confirmed.
One of the most intriguing pages features a drawing of a beautiful female warrior and two symbols:
