Arriving at Gardhr Nárjarls, Havi saw [[Hjalmgunnar]], who cursed him and [[Brunhild]] for betraying their promise of his victory while he was alive. Building himself back up from the appendages of other lost souls, he initiated his fight against Havi. However, Havi bested him and killed Hjalgunnar before leaving to venture to [[Nidheim]].
