Alain T. Puysségur (born 1991) is a French author, game designer, and former editor.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Early life[edit | edit source]

Alain T. Puysségur was born in 1991 in Yvelines, Île-de-France. As a child he became interested in the works of Jean-Luc Bizien, J. R. R. Tolkien, Robin Hobb and J. K. Rowling. From then on he had extreme aspirations of being an author like them.[1]

Early career[edit | edit source]

From 2009 to 2011, Puysségur worked at MadGames as a News Manager, and during his employment he successfully established a media watch. Afterwards, until 2012 he was employed at SXGames as a Writer and Event Manager. From 2013 to 2014 his worked as an Editor for Role Playing Game and established partnerships during his time there. In 2015 he was an Assistant Editor intern at Les Éditions Alire Inc. Prior to, during, and after he worked as a Columnist for the Le Patelinant news blog. From 2016 to 2018 also worked for Éditions Bragelonne as an editor for many pop culture novelizations.[2]

Assassin's Creed[edit | edit source]

Puysségur's first instance of working on an Assassin's Creed product came when he served as the editorial manager for Assassin's Creed: Les chroniques d'Ezio Auditore a French-language exclusive compilation released on 19 October 2016 of the three previously released English-language novels by Oliver Bowden; Renaissance, Brotherhood, and Revelations.[2][3]

A year later, he worked as the editorial manager on the card game Assassin's Creed: Vendetta,[2] released on 18 October 2017.[4]

On 15 April 2021, a new standalone novel series, Assassin's Creed: Fragments began with the release of Assassin's Creed: Fragments – The Blade of Aizu written by Olivier Gay. Puysségur was announced as the author of the second installment entitled The Highlands Children, scheduled for released in September 2021.[5][6]
