Early ASP model

The Akashic Satellite Plexus was launched in 2008, and appeared to simply be a collection of communications, weather, and observation satellites.[1]

The plexus was heavily shielded, in order to remain functional in the face of predicted solar flares. It also had scramblers that prevented standard satellite imagery from effectively pinpointing the Abstergo campus' various facilities.[2]

On December 21, 2012, Abstergo Industries intended to launch the Eye-Abstergo satellite into the plexus, which was meant to amplify the powers of an Apple of Eden. Though the Assassins believed Abstergo would use it to control the world, this was denied in their internal documents for their top agents, and emphasis was placed on the plexus becoming able to locate "individuals with potential".[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]
