Cweornric was a small farming hamlet in the southwest of Ledecestrescire, south of the hillfort of Tonnastadir.
In the 870s, the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir visited the hamlet in pursuit of leads regarding the Order of the Ancients member known as The Adze. Eivor was able to locate the lead in the house northwest of a watermill, uncovering The Adze's identity as a shipwright in Repton named Gunilla.[1]
Around the same time, Eivor also recovered a carbon ingot hidden in treasure chest in one of the houses.[2]
