Ezio, my friend! How may I be of service? This article has a lot of room for expansion. Please improve it with additional information in accordance with the Manual of Style |

Hares are small, herbivorous animals belonging to the Lepus genus. Hare species are native to Africa, Europe, Asia, North America, and the Japanese archipelago.[1]
History[edit | edit source]
During the Renaissance, a rabbit's foot was considered a symbol of good luck.[2]
During the Seven Years' War, the Colonial Templar Shay Cormac fashioned a number of items from pelts obtained from hares and arctic hares, including a pouch for his darts.[3] In the subsequent American Revolution, the Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton could hunt hares in the Frontier, and sell their furs, meat, and feet for money at general stores.[4]
