The Shimmering Shield is a light shield made from the same material as the Bifröst bridge of Norse myth.
The Assassin Layla Hassan, while reliving Eivor Varinsdottir's memories, modified her Animus to incorporate this shield into the shieldmaiden's arsenal in the simulation.[1]
