The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha, best known as Don Quixote, is a novel written by Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes, published in two parts in 1605 and 1615.[1] Joanot Martorell's chivalric romance Tirant lo Blanch was a major influence on the book.[2]
