Jörd's Blade

Jörd's Blade was a seax decorated with glowing engravings which suggested that it had originally belonged to Thor's mother Jörð, the Norse goddess of earth.

During the Viking expansion into England, the short blade was made available to the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relived her memories in 2020.[1]

Description
The glowing engravings on this seax seem to indicate it was once owned by the very mother of Thor.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Jörd's Blade, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, shares the same model as the weapon Suttungr's Claw from the same game.
