The Bloody Business was a ōdachi that Yasuke obtained in 1582. That year, fellow Kakushiba ikki member Fujibayashi Naoe had been aiding Imai Sōkun in stopping the threat posed to him by a rival merchant guild. Locating their mastermind, the "Iron Hand", at Fukuchiyama Castle, Tamba, she killed him and took the sword from his personal effects, before passing it on to Yasuke.[1]
