The Berserker Bracers were a pair of bracers worn by berserkrs made from bear hide. Unlike most armguards, they were meant more to insulate the arm from weather rather than protect it from weapons.
During the Viking expansion into England, the bracers were made available to the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relived her memories.[1]
