Berenice I (Greek: Βερενίκη; c. 340 BCE – between 279 and 268 BCE), alternatively Berenike, was Queen of Egypt by marriage to Ptolemy I Soter.

Berenice was one of the few women in history to participate and win in the Olympic Games, having won an equestrian event.[1]
