The Prospector was a British ship that sailed near the eastern coast of the British colonies in North America during the 1770s. On her final voyage to Louisbourg in 1776, the Prospector carried a secret cargo. The Aquila, captained by the Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton, gave chase and sank the British vessel to make sure she would not escape with her secrets.[1]
