| This article is about the quest reward. You may be looking for the belt of the Ares-set. |
The Belt of Ares was a belt worn by the Family Leader in Messara, Greece, around the time of the Peloponnesian War.
Due to the threat of the Followers of Ares in the area, the elderly woman had taken up the habit of wearing the belt for protection. When the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the city of Gortyn, the woman noticed her and requested her help in dealing with the Followers of Ares. As a reward, she gave the belt to Kassandra.[1]

- Whereas the Ares Set's belt shares the model with Spartan War Hero Belt, the quest reward shares the model with the variant Athenian Tassets.
