Ulster (Irish: Ulaidh) is a traditional Irish province that is made up of nine counties in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland respectively.
In the late 9th century, the Viking jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan visited Ulster during her travels in Ireland.[1]
