The Pyrenees is a mountain range situated along the border between France and Spain.
In the late 9th century, Ségdae and Sadhbh, the mother and wife to Bárid mac Ímair respectively, travelled to Caldarez in southern Francia, hoping that the waters that flowed down from the Pyrenees would heal Ségdae.[1]
In February 2017, while driving in the Pyrenees, Elisa Adler was involved in a serious car accident which induced head trauma and amnesia, resulting in her being admitted to the Clinique des Rameaux for treatment.[2]
