To the Charles Lee theorists, it's a good idea, but would probably lead to a scene like this:

Jokes aside, I like Eagle's theory, merged with the Haytham Kenway theory. It would also explain why Connor chose Kenway as his surname, and highlight his birth name "A life that is scratched" (Ratohnhaké:ton).
