==Biography==
By 1582, Yuki grew up to be a formidable warrior with her ''[[naginata]]'' and challenged master swordsman and warrior across Japan to learn from them. In [[Harima]], she came across a ''naginata'' master and student of [[Kamiizumi Nobutsuna]], [[Tomita Nobutaka]] at the [[Ishinohoden Shrine]]. Easily, she bested him in combat and made an impression on the officer. Soon, she searched for [[Yasuke]], the "Dragon from Beyond the Sea."<ref name="Nobutsuna Students">''[[Assassin's Creed: Shadows]]'' – [[Nobutsuna's Students]]</ref> 

Fortunately, the [[Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins|Kakushiba ''ikki'']] member came and found Nobutaka wounded near the shrine. After being directed to Yuki, they discussed their goals and both accepted to duel with each other. Yasuke managed to best her and both thanked each other while Yuki revealed how she fought to face her fears of fighting in this cruel war. After their duel, Yuki gifted a ''naginata'', [[Celestial Blade]], to Yasuke before the samurai left. Afterwards, Yuki was charmed by Nobutaka for stealing his heart.<ref name="Nobutsuna Students"/>
