'''Takayama Ukon''' (c. 1552 – 1615) was a [[Japan]]ese [[Christianity|Christian]] daimyō.

Ukon was a very fervent Christian, as were all the [[samurai]] under him. Because of their fond relations with the [[Jesuits]], who at times acted as his advisors, the missionary group accrued a lot of influence.<ref name="Echoes Shadows 03">''[[Echoes of History]]'' – Shadows – Episode 3: Portuguese Missionaries in Japan</ref> In 1587,<ref>{{WP|Toyotomi Hideyoshi}}</ref> [[Toyotomi Hideyoshi]] banned the Jesuits from Kyushu and deprived Ukon of all his domains, leading to his eventual banishment.<ref name="Echoes Shadows 03"/>
