'''Sæhrímnir''' was a creature from [[Norse mythology]], being a beast that was killed and eaten every night by the [[Æsir]] and ''[[einherjar]]''. [[Andhrímnir]] was responsible for preparing its meat.

==Biography==
In [[Eivor Varinsdottir]]'s visions of [[Odin]] at [[Asgard]], Odin was approached by Andhrímnir who sought his help in tracking Sæhrímnir down, after it had been restored to life and escaped Andhrímnir's kitchen. The pair, joined by many [[Hunting|hunters]], tracked Sæhrímnir to a nearby opening. Andhrímnir warned his men of the beast's deadliness but backed it up with how delicious he was.
