In 1582, the [[Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins|Kakushiba ''ikki'']] members [[Fujibayashi Naoe]] and [[Yasuke]] visited the village to track down a corrupt ''daikan'' [[Gamo Morinari]] upon the request from [[Tominaga|Kuma]], [[Oichi]]'s personal bodyguard. There, they saw Morinari taunting and stealing from his constiuents before they intervened and assassinated him.
