'''Merton''' (died c. 874) was a [[Mercia]]n nobleman who served as [[ealdorman]] of [[Sciropescire]] during the late 9th century.

Under the rule of King [[Ceolwulf II of Mercia|Ceolwulf]], Merton worked with the allied [[The Sons of Ragnar|Sons of Ragnar]] to combat against the invading [[Britons]] led by King [[Rhodri the Great]].
