'''Matsu''' was an elderly [[Japan|Japanese]] woman from [[Iga]] who lived during the 16th century, during the period of [[Oda Nobunaga]]'s domination of the {{Wiki|Kinai}}. She hailed from a family of [[Ninja|shinobi]] and was a member of the [[Iga ikki|Iga ''ikki'']], serving as one of the group's scout.<ref name="ACSH">''[[Assassin's Creed: Shadows]]''</ref>
