In 9th [[Baghdad]], '''Khidmah Tokens''' or '''Favor Tokens''', were a form of underground currency circulated around the city that were used to grant services and favors when shown to various types of people.

During the 860s, the [[Hidden One]] [[Basim Ibn Ishaq]] obtained these tokens from completing contracts on behalf of the brotherhood, and from pick-pocketing the citizens living in the city. He would use some of them to aid various missions to hunt down the [[Order of the Ancients]].<ref name="ACM">''[[Assassin's Creed: Mirage]]''</ref>

==Types==
There were namely three types of tokens: Scholar, Power, and Merchant, each for different uses.
*Scholar Favor Tokens can be used to bribe [[scholars]] and enterainers in order to distract [[guards]] and move them away from certain gates and areas. In the [[Round City]], they can also be used to purchase maps from a cartographer to locate treasures in the city.
*Power Favor Tokens can be used to bribe Caliphal guards, order hire [[Mercenaries]] and [[Zanj Rebellion|Zanj rebels]] in the city in order to attack guards. They can also be used to bribe the [[Munadi]] in order to remove notoriety.
*Merchant Favor Tokens can be offered to [[merchants]] in the city such as Traders, [[tailor]]s and [[blacksmith]]s in order to grant discounts when purchasing items from. They can also be used to pay Merchant Groups to allow for blending when entering restricted areas.
