'''Hongan-ji Kennyo''' (光佐; 1543 – 1592), also known as '''Kōsa''', was the eleventh head of the Hongan-ji in [[Kyoto]]. As Chief Abbot of the {{Wiki|Ishiyama Hongan-ji}}, Kennyo led the [[Ikkō-ikki]] in a {{Wiki|Ishiyama Hongan-ji War|ten-year resistance}} against [[Oda Nobunaga]], which ultimately resulted in their defeat and the destruction of ikki's stronghold.<ref name="Wiki">{{WP|Kōsa}}</ref>
