Editing Hop Wo Society

The '''Hop Wo Society''' was a "trade union" that worked out of the [[Great World]] in [[Shanghai]], [[China]] during the 20th century. However, it was a front for the Chinese gang organization, the [[Green Gang]], which was led by [[Du Yuesheng]] at the time.

==History==
In April 1927, the organization, under Du's orders, sent [[France|French]] concession officers, [[Henri Melville]] and his partner, to kill a [[Templars|Templar]] associate and intercept [[Darius Gift]]. However, their plans were thwarted by the [[Black Cross]] [[Albert Bolden]], who investigated the matter. Realizing the Black Cross' presence, the society staged a trap for the Black Cross at one of their offices.
