In 1582, the [[Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins|Kakushiba ''ikki'']] member and [[samurai]] [[Yasuke]] arrived back at [[Azuchi]] after the [[Honnō-ji incident|death]] of his fallen lord [[Oda Nobunaga]]. Going towards the residence to meet Lady Nene, he saw [[Akechi clan|Akechi]] [[soldier]]s looking for both Hideyoshi and Lady Nene. Realizing they were sent by [[Akechi Mitsuhide]], Yasuke managed to kill the hostiles and found one of Lady Nene's servants, who thanked him.
