In July 1863, during the build up towards the [[New York City draft riots]], the remnants of the Daybreak Boys as well as the other major gangs; the [[Bowery Boys]] and the [[Roach Guards]], in addition to a few of the lesser known New York gangs had agreed to a temporary cease to their hostilities in order to work towards a bigger prize.<ref>''[[Assassin's Creed: Last Descendants]]'' – Chapter 10</ref>
