==Biography==
In 1560, Konan was a student under [[Momochi Sandayu]] and welcomed his new student [[Fujibayashi Nagato|Fujibayashi Masayasu]] to his new quarters. While introducing him around the grounds, they spoke about how Masayasu bested [[Hattori Hanzō]] and his awe of it. However, one night, the training grounds were attacked by former fellow ''shinobi'' [[Toza]] and his subordinates and the ''[[rōnin]]'' [[Kuroiwa Gonjou-rou]]. Fighting against the ''rōnin'', he was badly injured and retreated into the woods.
