In late June 1582, the [[ronin]] [[Yasuke]], formerly a retainer of Nobunaga and a member of the [[Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins|Kakushiba ''ikki'']], returned to Azuchi after the [[Honnō-ji Incident]].
