'''Ramm Valley''' is a region to the north of [[Al-Ula Valley]], being part of the [[Abbasid Caliphate]] in the 9th century. At that time, it bordered the [[Northern Wilds]] to the north and was separated from the [[AlUla Oasis]] by a small strip of territory belonging to the [[Southern Wilds]]. ==History==
In the 860s, the valley was terrorized by a gang of [[Robbers of Al-Ula|robbers]] led by [[Nimlot]].<ref name= "Tracks in the Desert">''[[Assassin's Creed: Mirage]] – [[Valley of Memory]]'' – [[Tracks in the Desert]]</ref> Having a grudge against [[Hidden Ones|Hidden One]] [[Basim ibn Ishaq]], who had murdered his father, [[Mas'ood Al-Ya'qoob]],<ref name= "In the Vulture's Nest">''[[Assassin's Creed: Mirage]] – [[Valley of Memory]]'' – [[In the Vulture's Nest]]</ref> Nimlot ordered his men to kidnap Basim's father, [[Ishaq ibn Khalid]], and had him taken to their outpost in Ramm Valley. Basim travelled to the valley, coming upon a caravan of traders being ambushed. He managed to interrupt the robbers' attack, causing them to flee further into the canyons. Following their tracks, he arrived at the [[Robbers' Water Supply]], where he found both a map to another camp, the [[Robbers' North Outpost]], and a note mentioning that his father had been moved. In this hidden den, Basim located a renegade robber locked in a cage who offered information in exchange for his freedom. The man revealed Nimlot's plot and location, further explaining that in order to gain entry to the [[Roman Fort Ruins]], he would need to use a whistle to signal the others. Basim picked up a bone whistle from a nearby table and set the man free before heading over to the place his father was being kept.<ref name= "Tracks in the Desert"/>

While traversing the valley, Basim also met with an artist drawing on the sand. The artist requested that Basim look at the art piece from up high so that he could be certain it was as grand as he imagined. A group of leopards suddenly attacked them, though Basim managed to eliminate them before they could kill the artist, leaving him with a piece of advice to bring a companion next time to avoid such issues.<ref name= "The Sand Artist">''[[Assassin's Creed: Mirage]] – [[Valley of Memory]]'' – [[The Sand Artist]]</ref>
