In that Boston demo, it seems as though Connor calls those redcoats to pose with him as if they had captured him. Considering that the classic Assassin's Signal eagle screech can be heard just before they arrive, I think it is safe to assume that this could be part of the new Assassin's back-up system thingy.

What do you guys think?
