They do use the wiki, members like Master Sima Yi and Subject 16 have spoken to them and the AC3 team confirmed that they use it during a video interview with GameInformer. They even used the factual corrections that Master Sima Yi noticed, to adjust the second edition of the the Encyclopedia.
