Sequence 01 - Prologue
...in which our Hero, the notorious Pirate, Edward Kenway, acquired for himself a Disguise and a Purpose: the Deliverance of a Letter, Maps, and a strange Crystal Cube to the Governor of Havana, in exchange for a perceived Reward;-- here too was a Merchant named Stede Bonnet befriend'd;-- pair'd up, the Two set sail for the Spanish Capital, Havana.
Sequence 02 - The Spanish Main
...in which Edward Kenway dallied for a Time in Havana under the false Name, Duncan Walpole, whereupon he came into Contact with men calling themselves "Templars" named Laureano Torres, Woodes Rogers, and Julien du Casse;-- it was from these men that Edward attempted to collect his monetary reward, and here too that he inadvertently joined the Templar Order, attacked and killed a sort called "Assassins", and met a strange man refererr'd to as the Sage;-- a mysterious Location called The Observatory was talked about with Reverence by all;-- shortly thereafter, the Sage escaped the Templars' prison just as Edward's Deceptions were discovered;-- he was then imprisoned and set aboard a departing Spanish Treasure Fleet for delivery to British Templars in London;-- yet, using his Wits and Cunning, and accepting the Aid of a Trinidadian called Adewale, Edward escaped his bonds, acquired a Spanish Brigantine, and sailed away at the head of a Hurricane to Safety.
Sequence 03 - The Republic Of Pirates
...in which Edward Kenway, newly named Captain aboard his newly christened Jackdaw, sat sail for Nassau, Pirate Republic;-- whereupon he reunited with old friends, Ed Thatch, Benjamin Hornigold, and James Kidd;-- and there under the Tutelage of his Betters, learn'd the proper Methods of Captaining, Seafaring, and Pirating;-- and did ultimately cross Paths with the Templar, Julien du Casse whom he killed out of Caution, wishing not to raise the Templar's Attentions against him, as he continued his own private Search for the mysterious Observatory, and the only man who knew its Location -- the Sage.
Sequence 04 - Retribution
...in which we saw the Maxim "As ye reap, so shall ye sow" play out in full;-- for it was here that Edward Kenway learn'd the Consequences of his Actions in Havana;-- and here he discover'd the Allegiance of his Friend, James Kidd, to the Assassins;-- and here he learn'd that the Maps he sold to the Templars in Havana named Assassin Encampents throughout the West Indies;-- and here he found the Assassins were none too pleased with this Betrayal;-- and in Consequence of these Actions, Edward was compell'd by Kidd's Mentor, Ah Tabai, to explore the Depths of a Mayan Temple, whereupon he spy'd a Statue of the so-called Sage, further deepening the Mystery of this Man;-- after which Edward helped the Assassins defend their Camp against a Templar-funded attack perpetrated by the Slaver Laurens Prins;-- whereupon the Assassins thank'd Edward, yet barr'd him from their Order.
Sequence 05 - Mistaken Motives
...in which the notorious Pirates Charles Vane and "Calico" Jack Rackham appear'd in Nassau, bringing word of a large Shipment of Gold to a nearby Spanish Fort;-- within which, the Templar Laureano Torres was busy counting and gathering Money to offer as a reward to the Slaver Laurens Prins for his delivery of the Sage to the Templars;-- a scheme our Hero Edward Kenway discovered and adopted as his own;-- thus taking this Templar as a prisoner, Edward set about liberating the Sage for himself, using Torres and his Gold as bait;-- yet complications arose when the Assassin James Kidd arrived to murder both Prins and Torres, confounding Edward's own plans;-- After heated discussion, Edward agreed to help Kidd kill Prins in exchange for finding the Sage, somewhere upon the Slaver's property;-- it was here too that James revealed himself to be a woman, Mary Read;-- and in consequence of their confounded scheme, Laurens Prins was killed, but the Sage escaped yet again, much to Edward's Dismay.
Sequence 06 - Shifting Sands
...in which the Announcement of King George's Pardon to all Pirates touched the Ears of those in the distraught Pirate Republic, causing great Dissention among the Ranks of Rogues and Buccaneers there;-- whereupon our Hero devised the idea to acquire Medicines for the people of Nassau to strengthen their Health and Resolve should the British launch an Assault;-- whereupon Edward Kewnway and Ed Thatch -- calling himself Black-Beard -- searched the seas high and low for such Elixirs, bringing them at the last to the shores of Charles-Towne in the Carolinas, whereupon they took Hostages, assaulted the City, and acquired the Medicines they sought;-- yet here it was too that Black-Beard did announce his wish to Retire from a Life of Roguery and Theft;-- thus, leaving Edward in a State of much Glumness.
Sequence 07 - The British Invasion
...in which the Templar and now Governor Woodes Rogers arrived in Nassau with the Commodore Peter Chamberlaine with the aim of scrubbing the city of its piratical Influence;-- and in response, it was thence that Benjamin Hornigold did take the Pardon graciously and fell under the sway of the Charismatic Rogers;-- and by Contrast, here did Edward Kenway, Charles Vane, and "Calico" Jack Rackham resolve to take Flight, leaving Denizens like the Irish Anne Bonny to live once more under the British Yoke;-- and it was here that the Commodore Chamberlaine -- no friend of the Templar Rogers -- did concoct an order to sink all Pirate Ships in Nassau's Harbour, yet was prevented by our Hero's Blade from issuing such Order;-- whereupon the remaining Pirates did ignite a Fireship which, when sent at the British Blockade, exploded with so great a fury as to allow our hero an Escape.
Sequence 08 - No Regrets
...in which Edward Kenway was reproved by Mary Read for remaining ever fix'd to the Piratical way of Life;-- and as such, sailed north to recruit Blackbeard back into his cause;-- and failing such, thereby resolved to drink with him instead, until a sudden attack surprised their Lot, resulting in the untimely death of Ed Thatch;-- whereupon our Hero rejoined with Captain Vane and Mr. Rackham to pursue his original quest for the Observatory;-- yet suffered a setback when a disgruntled Mr. Rackham raised a Mutiny against them both;-- and so set adrift on a damaged ship, our Hero found himself Marooned with Captain Vane, whose Sanity appeared in danger of slipping;-- whereupon Vane attacked Edward Kenway, forcing our Hero to retaliate in Kind, thus subduing his old friend and leaving him for Dead;-- after which time, Edward Kenway located a small fishing Schooner and slipp'd from the Island.
Sequence 09 - Muddied Waters
...in which Mary Read further reproved our Hero for seeking the Observatory for reasons Selfish in Nature;-- whereupon Edward sailed for Kingston in pursuit of a Rumor that the Sage might be docked there;-- and whereupon he discovered that the Templars Torres, Rogers and Hornigold had learned of the Sage's departure from Kingston to the African Island of Principe;-- after which Edward made a hasty departure East -- offending much of his crew, who preferr'd simple piracies to Treasure hunts;-- and arriving thus, landed upon Principe to make the acquaintance of the Sage, a man now turned Pirate and calling himself Captain Bartholomew Roberts;-- whereupon Edward Kenway kill'd two Templars sent to capture the Sage -- the men Burgess and Cockram -- thus earning Roberts' full trust.
Sequence 10 - Dead Reckoning
...in which the mysterious Bartholomew Roberts requested of Edward Kenway a favor, in exchange for a glimpse of the Observatory, to which our Hero agreed;-- at which time this Pair of Captains did raid and loot a chest of Blood-filled Crystal Vials from a Portuguese Templar's ship, much to Roberts' satisfaction;-- whereupon Roberts was pleased and agreed to show our Hero the Prize he had so long sought, yet only after Edward agreed to dispatch the pirate hunter Ben Hornigold, then tailing them;-- And past doing the sad deed, Edward did get his glimpse at the Observatory -- a strange Device capable of seeing through another Man's Eyes;-- after which, Bartholomew Roberts betrayed and imprisoned Edward Kenway, and threatening to deliver our Hero unto British hands for safe keeping, as Adewale and the rest of the Jackdaw's crew sailed off in Solidarity and Safety.
Sequence 11 - To The Lees
...in which Edward Kenway languished for many Months in a Port Royal Prison, before bearing witness to the Trial of his old Friends, Mary Read and Anne Bonny, who plead their Bellies to stay their executions;-- during which time Edward was visited by Torres and Rogers, who promised safety in exchange for the Observatory's Location, which Edward refused, despite vague threats against his Wife;-- after which Edward languished four months additional in Prison, and in a Gibbet, tortured and deprived, until the Assassin Mentor Ah Tabai came to his aid;-- whereupon they entered the prisons to rescue Anne and Mary, resulting in Anne's escape and Mary's untimely death;-- whereupon Edward departed in solitude to drink away his sadness, and got right pissed;-- after which he was wakened by his former Mate Adewale, who returned his ship, then departed again for the Assassins;-- after which Edward followed, and spoke humble with Ah Tabai, and asked for the opportunity to make aright what he had broken years earlier...
Freedom Cry
In which Adéwalé, now an Assassin for over a decade, washes up on the shores of a corrupt and hostile Saint-Domingue and confronts the past he fought to overcome. Moved to action against injustice and deep-seated hatred, he faces a defining choice between his duty to the Assassin Brotherhood, and a new alliance with the Maroon resistance.
Sequence 1
Shay Patrick Cormac, a young man of ill manners but moral intentions, finds himself a member of those infamous renegades, the Assassin Brotherhood. This branch of the Brotherhood operates in the colonial territories of northeastern North America, as well as in the waters of the Atlantic. Young Assassin Shay helps some alled seamen and gains a shabby vessel of his own, the Morrigan. Back at the Assassin homestead, he receives some training from his compatriots, of which he was in dire need. Shay then learns from the heroic Adéwalé that a terrible earthquake has struck Haiti, with thousands of souls lost. What is more, during the disaster the Templars absconded with two crucial artifacts, a box and a manuscript. The Mentor Achilles tasks Shay and his brothers with retrieving these valuables, which he believes can bring the Assassins to dominance. Following a tip from a French spy, Shay takes the life of one Lawrence Washington in the search for these peculiar items. Little does he know that his quest has barely begun...
Sequence 2
Months pass and what began as mere emnity between the British and French ignites into war. Meanwhile, the Assassin Shay hones his technique while cutting a swathe through the ubiquitous Templar Order. He murders Samuel Smith to get the Precursor box, and James Wardrop for the ancient manuscript. Alomg the way he improves his Morrigan and outfits her with fine weapons indeed. He also meets Benjamin Franklin, an inventor and political thinker of no little repute. With this man's help, Shay combines the box and manuscript to discover a Precursor site of great power. But alas! When Shay finds the site, he triggers a calamity that destroys the city of Lisbon itself. With tens of thousands of souls on his conscience, Shay confronts his Assassin allies, only to be persecuted by the same. Left with no choice, he seizes both his fate and the manuscript and jumps to his doom.
Sequence 3
In New York, Shay awakens in the home of a kindly and venerable couple, the Finnegans. He soon finds that their existence is far from peaceful, however, as they and their neighbors are terrorized by roving gangs of ill-doers. But ha! They are no match for Shay and his uncommon skills. These same skills bring Shay to the attention of a certain Colonel James Monro, who shares his perspectives on civic duty with the young man. In more prosaic terms, he also asks Shay to rescue his Falstaffian friend, Christopher Gist. Shay regains his ship and takes Gist as his quartermaster. But he soon encounters his old ally Franklin, albeit under unfortunate circumstances: Franklin has been unwittingly helping criminals create dangerous poisons and weapons. Shay discourages Franklin and sets out to destroy the ruffians' armament. Having done so, fate reserves a surprise for Shay: the Templars congratulate him on his heroic deeds! And Monro and Gist among them! With his life and soul in danger, Shay says nothing that might reveal his past.
Sequence 4
The war rages on and Shay's Templar friend Colonel Monro finds himself outmanned and outmatched at Fort William Henry. But Shay comes to his rescue, escorting Monto and his men from the place. This respite is but temporary, though, as the Assassins recognize thekr prodigal son. They take up arms against him and any who would aid him. What is worde, the manuscript resurfaces, along with the possibility of a hecatomb. Shay stops one Assassin, but another - his dear friend Liam - steps up to slay the Colonel. Shays promises he will have revenge against his brother. Inspired by the fallen officer, he takes the oath of the Templar.
Sequence 5
Having attracted the attention of the Templar Grand Master, Haytham Kenway, Shay plunges himself into martial matters. To this end he befriends an English navigator, James Cook. With Cook's help, Shay leads the Templars and the Royal Navy against French reinforcements for Louisbourg. They are succesful - the Gallic fleet sinks in a raging inferno! That matter settled, Shay turns landward for an even greater prize: the life of the Assassin hero Adéwalé. Knowing this victory will shake the Assassins to their very core, he extinguishes Adéwalé, though not without regret.

Stunning Linguist
Plutarch claimed that Cleopatra could speak over 9 languages.
Long Learning
The library of Alexandria was first built by Ptolemy and was finished under Ptolemy III
In a Name
Cleopatra - a Greek name - can be defined as "Glory of Her Fatherland".
Mysteries of Egypt
Some believe that the Sphinx is connected to the Great Pyramid. Some theories even say that a secret room is hidden under the Sphinx's paws.
From Mud to Bricks
Mud was the preferred building material, as it easily baked in the sun and hardened into bricks. It was often mixed with straw as a fortification.
Herodotus' Reports
Herodotus believed that in Egypt, men stayed home to tend the loom while women ran the markets, and that "the women urinate standing up, the men sitting down".
Bloody Birthright
Ascension to the throne was a bloody venture during the rule of the Ptolemies, and was often achieved by poisoning, assassination, and outright murder.
Quite the Tenure
Memphis was the longest lasting major metropolis in the history of the world, being relevant for over 3,000 years.
Modern Alexandria Library
The current library in Alexandria has a copy of all the web pages on every website on the Internet since it started in 1996.
Alexander's Tomb
The tomb was never found and we are still looking for it today. Speculations as to where it was located exactly have been made from maps of ancient Alexandria.
Those Who Can't
In Alexandria, scholars were highly regarded. In the rest of the Hellenistic world, not so much. One expression: "He's either dead or off teaching somewhere".
Greek Drachma
Up until the use of the Euro on January 1st 2002, Greece was still using the Drachma. It was also used as a unit of weight, weighing in approximately 4.37 grams, in the avoirdupois system.

More temples and statues bear Ramesses II's name than any other pharaoh, and like many rulers before him, he substituted his name on whatever already existed.
True or False?
Tutankhamun's dagger has a blade made of iron from a meteorite.
Strange Bedfellows
The Ptolemaic dynasty needed protection from the Seleucid empire, and Rome could provide it. Thanks to an alliance, the Roman empire's power over Egypt kept growing until it was declared guardian of the Ptolemaic dynasty.

Roaring Good Time
Alexandria had a zoo that held several exotic animals, many of which were very dangerous.
Book Thieves

Happily Ever After
In the ancient days, either party could initiate a divorce. No reason needed to be given.

On Culture (Kerkesoucha Granary)
It is not without some pride that I observe the steady blooming of high culture across the once barren Faiyum. With every small change my persistent effort, careful planning, and fervent belief in the higher principles is vindicated. It has required a firm hand. Egypt does not relinquish its long barbarism easily. Some would question whether it is worth doing at all. I confess there have been times I have quietly wondered so myself. But looking now across our granary, with the sublime echoes of order calling from every shrub, pillar, and gable, I'm more certain than ever of our course. Whatever the cost, we will bring true civilization to the Faiyum, and then beyond. It is not merely desirable, it is imperative. With or without its cooperation, all of Egypt will be brought to bear, and order created.
Letter of Congratulations (Kerkesoucha Granary)
Honourable Lady,
it is with genuine admiration that we write to thank you for hosting our recent symposium. Your speech was, quite simply, a triumph.
There is not a soul in the Faiyum who has not benefited from your generosity, grace, and tutelage.
To hear the eloquent expression of your commitment towards the cultural enrichment of our beautiful city filled us all, I assure you, with no little pride.
In you Greece has indeed bestowed upon fortunate Egypt the very brightness of its glory.
Culture for all!
We remain your humble servants.
Greeks of Krokodilopolis.

The Heron
Rudjek
Bayek trekked across the vast Egyptian desert to corner Rudjek in the famous Bent Pyramid of Sneferu. Bayek's first kill, the death of Rudjek brought on Anubis's apparent curse on the natron mines.
The Ibis
Medunamun
Medunamun was installed as Oracle of Siwa by Ptolemy. He oversaw the Temple of Amun, but his true interest appeared to be the vault beneath the temple. He brutalized the villagers in an effort to learn the vault's secrets. Bayek killed him in a fury.
The Vulture
Actaeon
Aya's first kill. While the Order in Alexandria, Aya came across Actaeon and verified her suspicions when she discovered one of the masks in his apartments. He died a horrible death while wearing the mask. His role in the Order of Ancients is clear, his role in the death of Khemu however, is nebulous.
The Ram
Ktesos
He hunted down Aya, the killer of his friend Actaeon, in Alexandria. However, he met his end at her hands.
The Hippo
Eudoros
Royal Scribe to Ptolemy, Eudoros was one of the puppet-masters of the pharaoh. He met his death in Alexandria's opulent bathhouse thanks to Bayek's newly acquired hidden blade, although he did manage to exact limited vengeance: the loss of Bayek's ring finger. But was Eudoros in fact The Snake?
The Scarab
Taharqa
Taharqa was the mythical Scarab who haunted Sais and Letopolis. A great man who caused terrible pain in pursuit of a quest to build monuments that would outlive him. In his darkest moments, Bayek understood Taharqa all too well. The man had to die for the blood on his hands, but Bayek prays he hasn't simply carried on the cycle of vengeance.
The Hyena
Khaliset
After her daughter's death, Khaliset became obsessed with trying to resurrect her. With the help of The Order, she discovered an ancient tomb that she believed to possess the power to restore life. Far removed from reality and relentless in her approach, The Hyena's actions harmed every soul in Giza.
The Lizard
Hetepi
Hetepi's dark influence was felt throughout Memphis. Bayek chased him even through the realm of dreams. Hetepi was slain in Memphis's Great Temple, in sight of all the gods.
The Crocodile
Berenike
Berenike was an elder Greek statesperson and member of the Order of Ancients. A subtle and highly intelligent woman, she cultivated a public image of graceful benevolence while secretly manipulating political and legislative processes to bring about her vision of an enlightened Egypt. Behind the scenes she used Ptolemy soldiers and arena gladiators to enforce a web of ruthless oppression across the Faiyum.
