Ring-sword
(Redirected from Ring-Sword)

The Ring-sword was a short sword which once belonged to Louis the Younger. In the late 9th century, it ended in the possession of the Viking Toka Sinricsdottir. Toka later gave the sword to jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan after competing with her in a foot race in Francia during the siege of Paris.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
While the description of this weapon implies it is meant to be a 6th century Germanic migration period ring-sword, the model used is an anachronistic 15th century Irish ring-sword.
